Storyline: In this new day Romeo and Juliet, kung fu skirmish star Jet Li plays Romeo to haunch-hop singer, Aaliyah Haughtons Juliet. Li is ~y ex-cop investigating the murder of his brother, who had ties through the Chinese mafia in America. Aaliyah plays the daughter of the American riff-raff boss. Neither side approves of their novel, so, obviously, kung fu action ensues, through a soundtrack by Aaliyah.
